I'm not super into vocaloids - just getting the Miku and Rin figma series (would get Ren too, but I can't find him anywhere at a good price)- but I haven't seen anything with Ren being depressing at all... He's just seemed either chipper or the more quiet of the siblings. Kinda... Akira-ish?
