OOOOkay, so no other requests yet, so as I was playing some WoW, I got tired of running all over the continent and decided to write a little bit. Got to head to bed pretty soon anyway, so I figured I would just post this now ^o^/)

It's based on my Paladin blood elf, and my experiences with her so far 8|

Universe: WoW
Character: Frozenbara
Prompt: Experience

‘Hurry up and become more powerful!’

‘Don’t waste your time with those; it’ll just slow you down. Come help us with this instead.’

The blood elf paladin sighed, sitting on a fence in the Sepulcher, watching as an undead ambled past her, heading for who knew where. Her comrades’ words echoed in her mind, and she shut her glowing green eyes with another sigh, this more frustrated than the last.

“Battle experience is battle experience, right? No matter where or how you get it!” She muttered, resting her chin on her hand.

The mage and hunter she most often travelled with had parted ways with her a few days back; the mage insisted on fighting in the Ghostlands, only helping others as a way to make herself more powerful, and the hunter… well, they had lost track of him somewhere along the way to Silvermoon City.

Hopping off the fence she sat on, she moved over towards the apothecary Renferrel, having noticed him staring at her for a few moments. Nodding as he admitted his worries to her, she agreed to his request, and tilted her head slightly as he said ‘Dark lady watch over you.’

Their ‘dark lady,’ as they called her, had once been a blood elf, just like her. She was now an undead… Was that why helping the undead seemed like such a good idea? Because their leader used to be a blood elf?

If it were merely race loyalty, wouldn’t she be more interested in helping the Magisters in Silvermoon? Sure, she wanted to assist the other paladins that based in the immense city, but she had suspicions about them… The same sort of suspicions that she had for the Magisters – it was almost as if they were up to no good.

Making an unsatisfied sound, she turned away from the apothecary, heading out of the small town. Maybe, after fulfilling the apothecary’s request, she would travel to the ghostlands –although quite a distance away- and speak with her companions about her own concerns.

Breaking into a run, she drew her sword as she came upon a grizzled old bear; for now, she would merely focus on enhancing her skills, and assisting the people of the Sepulcher. That would have to be enough.

:P Nah, I'm not that bad. It's more that I'm interested in the characters I'm making and the world they inhabit, as opposed to the game... if that makes ANYSENSE.

All the guys at work only care about leveling and getting stronger, where I want to experience the world... They don't understand where I'm coming from, though, and just try to drag me off to mindlessly grind quests and fights...

.... but I'll still probably write fanfics about my two main characters 8D
