English: We watched the ending scenes of Tartuffe XD Too funny. Other than that, I got to complain a bit about my classes to some people before class. It was nice to get a bit of sympathy and shared feelings, especially when it comes to horrible professors.
History of Modern East Asia: ugh. Shoot me now. I will probably be one of the few people that did badly on that Vietnam War test. We've started China now, but unfortunately it seems that we're more than likely going to focus on the whole Mao Tse Tung/Chiang Kai-shek thing... Dammit, I want stuff about Wei, Wu, and Shu!
Oh, and the teacher is starting to get on my last nerve. Not only does she say 'libary' instead of 'library,' but now she says 'statue' instead of 'stature' I know these are little, insignificant things, but I guess I'm just very sensitive to that sort of thing...
Things to do:
-Write two assignments for Creative Writing, and print out approx. 20 copies of one for class. Due Friday.
-Read Chapters 5~7, along with 10 pages from Chapter 17 for Modern East Asia. Due Thursday.
-Read 'assigned' poems for English. Due Thursday.
-Study Chinese. Due next Wednesday.
-Study for Meteorology test, which covers Storm of the Century, and Chapter 1. Due tonight.
-Remember: Chinese restaurant tomorrow night.
-Visit Counselor at SOME point to discuss colleges and Phi Theta Kappa.
-Figure out ommited parts of 'Faust' in English text as compared with the real story (complain about lack of Homunculus)
-begin 'Rime of the Ancient Mariner' presentation
-study 'Moon on the Water' by Yasunari Kuwabata -Jumpstart on expected April presentation.
-Study for first Meteorology exam (includes Chapters 1-3, NJ county map, U.S. states and capitals, Storm of the Century, NE map of various mountain ranges, T-readings, and trivia questions) Due March 4th.
