Tried Mimana

Tried Mimana: Iyar Chronicle because it comes with a cd soundtrack, and I am a sucker for those. .... It reminds me a lot of Lunar, and not in the way that'll make me play it. More like the company tried to steal things from Lunar, and just weren't as successful.

Also, the main character looks about 14 years old. WAY too young looking for supposedly being drunk and despondent and gambling away in a bar. Also. He has a fouuuuul mouth on him. Not at all what I expected from such a cute game. Crais, you're a dick. >:|

And the main girl, Sophie. She has a very young face and demeanor, and reminds me a lot of Italy from Hetalia. She has the only decent voice in the cast so far. It's similar to her Japanese voice (which you hear when she is singing when you first meet her), so that's at least a plus. She's very gentle, and Crais calls her kid the whole time. I *REALLY* hope she doesn't become a love interest because that would be seriously squicky... ;;; M-Maybe if she is actually an adult, and *grows* into size, but..

I switched to her as soon as I realized you could switch to different party members (a la Wild Arms) but that talking to NPCs will temporarily switch you to whoever the NPC would address.

M-man, I hope Crais starts being nicer, because there are a lot of side-quest opportunities he's cheating himself out of 8| Also, playing more, I think that the translation team upped Crais' language to make American guys play this game, because the rest of it is so cute and pastel looking. K-Kind of a pain in the ass... It seems completely out of place.

Probably not going to pick this one up, unless I get... like... free money or something o3o;/) I'll test a new game out tomorrow \o/
