Did anyone else watch/follow/hiss at Eurovision 2009? Probably not but... Anyway, Norway won... and I don't really get it. Some of the other countries were kind of weird (Ukraine, wtf), or pretty bad (Finland, orz), but there were plenty that were much better than Norway!

Russia hosted this year, because they won last year (lol, it's sort of strange to think of Russia as European, isn't it?), and the previous winner performed. Russia also got another entry, of course, but I think everyone liked the previous winner better, lol.

Germany was hilariously un-Germany-like, with sparkle pants and everything. It basically proved that Germany is officially PORNOLAND. No, seriously, there was a lady in a corset with a riding crop. I kid you not. Catchy song, though.

I liked Turkey a lot more than Greece. Greece was very "Oh~ Look how hot I am!" but... he just seemed like a 40-yr-old CEO who thought he was sexy and that all women should fall all over themselves to me. And the song was... okay, lol. Turkey on the other hand, was pretty sexy and sassy. Lots of red (lol Russia), and flashy. I liked it! It really wanted you to get moving too, making me think of, all things, Bollywood. (Probably all those sexy harems and stuff!)

I really liked Estonia's as well. It had a sort of haunting quality to it~ Very pretty (on a personal note, the performance really reminded me of my prom dress......)

The Switzerland guy had the same hairstyle as Switzerland in Hetalia 8|

Spain had a great singer, but the show itself was rather lackluster. Plus, I really like when the performers use the language of their country instead of using English...

PS, I thought it was really weird that the person representing Norway was from Belarus ...

So, anyway, played some Virtua Fighter 5 until I had to go to the training meeting at Marc's place. We got paid, even though it wasn't at some official store or something. So, after goofing off during the video (it's impossible to take anything seriously with Dan there, I think. He likes to throw in comments even when everyone else is trying to pay attention ^^; ), we played with Marc's 360 avatar... I was just dressing him up in silly clothes, while Andrew decided to change his features too, lol....

Headed home around... 9:30, and then got yummy burgers :9 Can't play anything on 360, though, cause I'm downloading the Red Faction demo, and I wanna make sure it doesn't get interrupted. It's been downloading since before I went to the meeting at 6:15. ack.

It has been officially 1 year since I last played Virtua Fighter 5. Lol, that's so weird that I had the great urge to play it today...

Even though it's gotten cooler tonight (under 50!), it was nice driving home from Marc's place. Maybe because it was mostly unlit roads, or the cooler temperature, or just having a night out goofing off (playing with Marc's dogs, actually, made me think of Germany and his dogs 8| )... but everything's feeling pretty awesome~

yeah, it was .... junior year. I have a picture somewhere. Several room cleanings = I don't know where I store most of my stuff. Including things I need every day 8|;

if I find it, I'll post it for the world to see (and make fun of me for wearing a dress!)
