That was probably his concern, sir.

So, I was bored, with no one around on my potentially last off day for a while. Thus, I popped in Star Ocean: The Last Hope (I assume it's called this, because it's the last hope I have for Squeenix ever doing something well. You'd think I'd have learned from the Valkyrie Profile game on the PS2, that they're only glitter and no actual substance, but... Infinite Undiscovery kinda was good... at least good enough for me to buy...)
Gonna do this in the least aggravating, messy way.
Pros:
-shiny opening with lots of explosions
-Tri-Ace standard sounds, which is totally nostalgic
-Cheers to Stephen D. Kenny (yay, Claude's son? grandson?) and his really cute comrade (he looks like America from Hetalia, lol)
-There don't seem to be battle sim specific battle trophies.
-Rush combos.... are insane, and I kinda like it.
Cons:
-very little personal connection to opening (no actual characters, other than... American President? )
-No Japanese track
-Most achievements are 'Secret' except for the 'win so many...' types.
-MORE BATTLE TROPHIES. 'Nuff said. I hated those damn things.
-sterotypical main character voice. yawn (REALLY doesn't fit the cute face of Edge, btw)
-'cute' nagging girl best friend that stalks the main character relentlessly.
-starts with battle sim after LONG cut scene (this sort of stuff bugs me because they give you trophies you can ONLY get in the beginning mode, but if you mess up, you have to watch all that uninteresting stuff again)
-the AI in the battle sim is not very bright, often not assisting you in performing the task the sim wants done.
H-Hmm, this is just from the parts before the first save point. It's not looking very good Sqee-pon!
