That's not true. My PS3 plays disgaea 2 just fine. Haven't tried the other games, but I know it's at least 60 percent backwards compatible, and there are new patches for ps2 games being added all the time.

I pre-ordered dis3 from Rosenqueen.com, so I haven't gotten mine yet. ::waits by the door ;_; :: I want it so bad. At least I am replaying Disgaea 2 while I wait. Aaaah delicious Akutare. And Celesse and Aiko and Drey and ALL MY FRIENDS.
