OOh! sewing! I failed miserably at making plushies that looked how I wanted them to look....but I think I wanted them to look kind of like the Powerpuff girls do in the cartoon, which means I was going about the head all wrong.
I wish we could get together to sew & hang out and stuff...unfortunately my car is having trouble, and I'm working 6 days a week so I can make money to fix it. *crumple*
Although I would totally reccomend sewing by hand, with felt. And whatever you d--do not get a "Handy Stitch"!!Thread is cheap, so get lots of matching colors, or the invisible kind, and for the eyes, your best bet would probably be fabric paint. The acrylics in small bottles work pretty well, and seem to be wash proof, not that plushies would get washed that much anyways.
I hope that helps, feel free to call me whenever if you need any additional advice. When I'm babysitting, I can usually answer the phone unless I'm doing something like changing a diaper at that very second that someone calls me.
