The Hero of Chaos.
Mar. 21st, 2004 12:24 amHn. I keep missing N-chan by, like, the shortest degree X_X;; I missed her online by a minute, and missed her call by about an hour >.<;; ;.; And I was gonna beg her to DDR with meeeee~
And, also, why do people consider it a bad thing to be home during Spring Break? I mean... jeez! I'm just glad to not have to run around and bustle and all that crap >.<;
... well. On the plus side, the entire family is gone for now, and is coming back... sometime tomorrow. I don't know when (which is really stupid, because they just left this morning 9.9; ) So, I'm home alone wiff my cat :D
I'm also sporting a lovely, severe case of gamer's eye :D;;;
Because I've been playing Dynasty Warriors for a couple days now :D; I've been playing all the different kingdoms, trying to get movies, and the opening edit ^.^;
... o.o;; dammit, I'm not supposed to like Sou Sou-tachi... Damn Gi, having the best fourth ending >.>;;; We~ll, okay, there is also the fact that I'm really starting to like the deep loyalty with Sou Sou, Kakou Ton, and Ten-I. Maybe it's just because Sou Sou and Kakou Ton are cousins, and I think it'd be really neat to have such a great relationship with your cousin that he'd, you know, support you as you attempted to take over the world :D;; And Ten-I, wow. In all the scenarios where he gets killed, his dying words are always "If the Lord is okay..." etc etc etc. The Lord, btw, is Sou Sou. Rawr. Not even Chou-Un says stuff like that about Ryuubi. And HE raced through numerous Gi soldiers just to save Ryuubi's lil baby son (gah, can't.. think of the name x_x; )
The Gi officers (well, except Shinki. She bothers me sometimes x.X )... so loyal ;.; They keep this up, and they'll be my favorite force (Appropriate, since they really won in history...) ... Well, okay, fine, I'll still love Go and Shyoku, but you know...
And none of the Gi officers hold a candle to how absolutely wonderful my Kyo-I is *.* Ah, I feel sooo incredibly sorry for him, in history, that is. Okay, so he's working for Gi, yes? And this is around the time that Shokatsuryou-sama is doing his campaign against the North/Gi.
Well, Shokatsuryou's attention gets draw to this remote lil town that also happens to be a nice key strategic point. Also, there is this prodigy 19-some year old there named Kyo-I. Shokatsuryou does not quite know the extent of his prodigy-ness-ness, but, hey, if the Gi forces are so eager to have him on their side, Shokatsuryou wants him! XD
So, he leads the campaign there himself. The Gi forces stationed at Tian Shui are all eager to race out and kill Shokatsuryou, cause hey, he's the enemy's key strategist, and the one who's been screwing with their government (God, I love you Shokatsuryou. You're way more of a bitch than I thought XD; Sending women's clothes to the enemy strategist XD;; right after you've had him kicked out of his position).
However, though everyone else is all ready to go and get Shokatsuryou, Kyo-I stays in the fortress he's guarding. When messengers are sent to tell him to get his ass moving and attack, he refuses, saying that Shokatsuryou's up to something, and he advises that no one attack until he finishes figuring out just what Shokatsuryou is trying to pull.
Meanwhile, Shokatsuryou sends out spies to send rumors that Kyo-I is a traitor, which is why he's not going out and helping. So, the head commander is really really mad, sending out messengers out once more, only this time, they are accusations of Kyo-I. Kyo-I insists that he's not a traitor, and, though against his better judgement, sets out to kill Shokatsuryou to PROVE it. Well, as he's charging out of the fortress towards Shokatsuryou, Chou-Un (a well known fighter, with supposedly unbeatable skills - just so you know, he's a year older than Shokatsuryou...) gets between them.
Amazingly enough, Kyo-I holds his own against the renowned fighter, but is eventually stopped. He's put to his knees with Chou-Un's weapon at his neck, but Shokatsuryou tells Chou-Un to let him go, so that they could talk on a more even ground. So, Kyo-I stands up, and Shokatsuryou manages to convince him to REALLY join the Shyoku forces.
And then, once he does, Kyo-I's two best friends also join! Thus allowing Shyoku to capture Tian Shui. :3
SO! After all of that strife just to get the poor boy to join ^^;; more campaigns are held. However, many of them fail, or are interrupted, and there are problems. Damn Shiba Yi ^^; With all of the stress, Shokatsuryou falls ill. He does not recover, and dies the night of the big battle at Wu Zhang Plains. ;.;
However, Kyo-I has learned most, if not all, of Shokatsuryou's strategies, and makes it seem that Shokatsuryou has not died. Well, that manages to push Shiba Yi's force back for a while, and Shokatsuryou is buried at Mt. Ding Jun.
Well, for a while, Kyo-I does not 'do' much, and Shyoku turns to internal affairs so as to fix themselves up. But the current Shyoku emperor is convinced by Kyo-I to begin campaigns once more. However, he ends up using a lot of Shyoku's resources... Not to mention that the emperor is under council of a really scummy guy >.<; This guy drags Kyo-I back from the front lines numerous times for absolutely no reason, and the peasants/citizens begin to believe the battle is pointless (GEE! I wonder what THAT sounds like >.<; )
But this does not stop Kyo-I. Even after Shyoku is corrupted and manipulated, he manages to make deals and gain Shyoku independance from Gi.
Now, I have varying sources for this... Um. I think in the novel, Kyo-I is killed in what becomes the final battle of Shu, just before they are destroyed. But in real history, he gave up the Mandate of Heaven (he was Prime Minister by this time, I believe), and went to live a peaceful, if not dejected life with his wife and two daughters. However, just when the final conflicts are fizzling out, Gi supporters break into his house, killing him and his entire family ._.;;
So, yes, that's the story of Kyo-I's life. Hectic, ain't it? O.o;; Poor baby, has to spend thirty years of all that without his mentor Shokatsuryou ;.;
Ha, ha.. Sorry for the rant. I just really love Kyo-I :D;;;
I also am a big fan of a lot of other soldiers, but, uh, firstly, I don't think anyone would care, and secondly, I am not as well versed in them as I am in my beloved Kyo-I. Lesse, there's the Sonsaku/Shyuu Yu pairing >3 And Kan Nei/Rikuson one, fufufufufu~ Chyoukou is a real laugh (in a good AND bad way, I swear) who, on one of his fighting outfits, has BUTTERFLY WINGS XD; OMG! Don't forgett Chouryou, who I like alot, except for the fact that he kills Taishiji >.<;
... er, right :D; ANYWAY.
Growl. I don't want to go back to school on Tuesday >.<; I'm getting really used to not doing all that hectic stuff... Mrf. Oh well. X.X C'est la vie...
