Apr. 14th, 2006 09:05 pmMrrf. This whole week, I had the nagging feeling that I forgot to do something. But in the midst of spring cleaning and Soul Caliber 3, I just couldn't think of what I could possibly be forgetting ><;
I also got a dvd box set of Paula Deen :9 I love her cooking X3 She's so cute too! Lol, those southern women :3; Nick-kun really likes her too.
Besides the two games I got on my actual birthday (Soul Caliber 3, and Wild Arms: Alter Code F -which I haven't gotten to play yet ;_;), I also got Hourglass of Summer, Yuuenchi, and Mahou no Ochakai.
Hourglass of Summer is SO awesome *o* It's fully voiced and the story is really intriguing. So far, I've gotten Tomomi and Mana :9 I was aiming for Mana first (she's a swimmer, and seems pretty distant, but she eventually warms up to you -for varying reasons, depending on if it's her true ending or not), but got Tomomi -the teacher- first XD I don't really mind, because Tomo-chan... hm! Well, she reminds me of some characters X3; She's into weird stuff, like supernatural things, but is a hard-facts seeking scientist at the same time. Next playthrough will probably have me aiming towards ... hm, I'd wager Rin-chan >3;;
Yuuenchi... hm, I haven't played much of that yet because you get only a few options. At the beginning of each chapter, you pick a girl you want to see (and it's usually limited by your responses previously), and then it just continues on its own until the next chapter :< I want a little more interaction than that ;-;
And Mahou no Ochakai... well, it's cute X3; It's a very humorous game, but... there seems to be an error in the code. Some times, during certain chapters, it doesn't even give you options, but reacts like you responded a certain way. And, it's only happened once, but it once changed a response I gave O.O;;; ... besides that, I can't seem to meet Ponica ;-; She's SO cute. She's a little mechanic girl that doesn't talk much (I'm sure you know who she reminds me of) Oh! And the main character is... well... an asshole XD; He's only actually nice to Manamu (one of the dating choices) Everyone else, he always insults and gets them angry without any choice from you! o.O;
Uwaah, I'm so eager to try out Wild Arms: Alter Code F. It's apparently a remake(?) of Wild Arms 1... Though, so far, it doesn't look like that horrifying remake of Final Fantasy 7. Nyaaa,I want to see Jack! Of course, there're also new characters, so I'll be able to replace the princess girl that's totally a cliche character x.X; :9; Good thing they changed that in Wild Arms 2.
Hmm, I suppose I should go do something ... productive :o
