Kira kira! Poka poka! Fuwa fuwa!
Jan. 22nd, 2004 02:28 pmRawr. Since I've had at least a bit of interaction with the rest of my classes, I'm officially now waiting for my Adv. Creative Writing class to be a dissapointment :P;;;
I figure, it's best to not assume a class is gonna be really great until you meet the professor, yes? After all, I was psyched about the Modern East Asia class... only to be smooshed face first into the Vietnam War. >.<; GRARGH! Kennedy was NOT the first President in there. Sorry, Baby Boomer-tachi, Kennedy is not the be-all and end-all of the world for anyone but you people ::fang::
While Toriya beats his head against a wall in hopes of forgetting the fools in my history class, I'll say that so far, my other classes seem good.
Chinese is the same as it was before, so I might be rather bored in that class. I'm not worried about failing it at all, as the teacher makes it too easy for us a good portion of the time. But, I think I would be alot... I dunno... more interested and driven if it was independant study. :/
On the plus side, I got to see Sensei last night ^_^ During my break in Chinese, I went to get snacks, but ended up chatting with Willie for a good.. erm... 20 minutes at least n_n;;; It wasn't intended, honestly. But I said 'hi' to Sensei, because she let her class out, and Willie and I were all nostalgic for Japanese class XD; Oh, I do miss that class so much. It was so FUN! I also got to see Mike when he got outta Japanese class, but since I had to get back to my Chinese class, I didn't really get to say much to him n_n;;;
Meteorology seems good. Apparently, there'll be some things to do with Physics, but hey, I've got Toriya here to back me up, lol. I'm no good with math anymore ._.; so, I'm really REALLY hoping there's no hard-core physics.
Though I did have to roll my eyes when some girl in my Meteorology class said that she was taking the class because "it's the only class where you don't have to dissect things." Why, if you ask ME, those are always the coolest classes, though they can sometimes be confusing if you get a specimen with unusual characteristics... Like, say, getting a shark that was pregnant, when you didn't expect it. :/ That moves all the organs around, making you have to compensate for it...
Anyhoo, so far, two classes great, and two classes tolerable.
Lesse, spent a good portion of English today correcting mispronounced names ^^; Which is weird, because SOME of the time, the letter combinations (such as 'ei') were pronounced correctly, but then they'd turn around and say the exact same combination in a totally weird way o.O;
Currently, I'm printing out a map of the counties of New Jersey, because I'll be damned if I know even half of them... But we need to know them in Meteorology, so I'm humoring my professor :P
As I still have a good three hours left until class, maybe I should do something productive... Like... um... like... Oh, bother. I could theoretically work on creating a new series. Or, I could theoretically work on some Rebels stuff. Or, I could theoretically find something to eat (yeah, I know, not eating until this late again? Shame on me). I could also start working on my English presentations that are due at various places during the semester (One is only two days after my birthday. I almost did one ON my birthday ^^; )
... Of course, you all probably know that I'll get all of nothing done today XD; I tend to just drop my backpack off near a room and wander around for hours. I really wish I had a bigger campus. Like all you people seem to... where you have to take buses all over it o.O; The campus here... eh. I could circle it (go EVERY path possible) in... oh, about 15 minutes tops.
Since I have a vague feeling that I'm either boring people, or people haven't even read most of it, I think I'll stop my idle chatter ^^;
