Otakon Checklist (may be updated later)

Here it is people. What I'm gonna be working on or bringing for Otakon. Feel free to insert other necessities. Especially you people with con experience. u_u; I, for one, am not certain I got everything...

Item 1: Shishido costume (Prince of Tennis)
-including:
--pink soled Hyotei shoes (which I'm sure I can buy somewhere, since a girl in my Psychology class has some... and if not, I can paint the bottom of my tennis shoes)
--a pair of silver, metal scissors
--tennis uniform, or school uniform? (must be decided)
-possible temp. hair dye (too risky?)

Item 2: Yasunari costume (Original Character)
-including:
--headphones
--customized "Creator-issue" sneakers (I need a new pair of Vans anyway)
--hair tie (tight enought to keep ponytail high up)
--no-sleeved shirt (if it's warm... and it should be, since it's summer)
--black jeans (flare?)
--belts. Plenty of belts.
--fingerless gloves
--black vest
--maybe a carabeener or two..
--black ropes (for possible climbing XD; )

Item 3: Tall!Manta costume (Fan-based Character)
-including:
--white t-shirt (neck stretched and logo on chest)
--green slacks (not jeans) (OBTAINED)
--hair tie (for a looser pony tail)
--Shaman Fight bell (Must... make...)
--small Herman-like glasses
--spirit-ball Jounetsu?
--brown shoes (preferably loafers)

Item 4: alarm clock
--the loud, truck-backing-up one

Item 5: Cameras
--loads and LOADS of them.

Item 6: Art materials
-including:
--sketch pads (of varying sizes)
--pencils
--erasers
--pens
--colored pencils?

Item 7: cash
-for trip down and stay at motel. Gas and food.
-possible spending money
-extra that is not to be touched, because parents are paranoid.

Item 8: Music
-including:
--tape of all Rebels voices. Must be shown to J-chan
--DDR remixes
--character voice tape (may be combined with Rebels)
--music to keep me awake all night.

Item 9: Playstation?
-see if Noel wants to bring Playstation-san, in case of insomnia and no exhibits.
--in which case, alot space for games.

Item 10: discover guests and locations before arrival.

Item 11: obtain list of friends
-names (and aliases. Note to self, data for characters names should be collected)
-room numbers
-acquaintances?
-meeting times/places
-PICTURES (for identification purposes)

Trial of Luck...

Today started out quite rainy, and cold. Combined with my mom's depressing angsty music on the car ride here (with lyrics such as "I'm only happy when it rains..." or "I want to love but it comes out wrong. I want to live, but I don't belong. I close my eyes and I see... blood and roses..." -- yes, this is the sort of stuff she listens to all the time. Any sort of happy music seems to be looked down upon by her o.o;;)... well, I figured today was going to be pretty miserable.

However, I got a couple of lucky breaks. My favorite candy (Peanut chews :9) were actually stocked today. And the cloudy ickiness has gone away. It's still cold, but I hardly care about that when compared with rain. And none of my classes are really difficult today (though Latin American history is rather hard to sit through)

Also, extra credit quiz in Latin American history on Wednesday, with scoring equivalent to an essay. That is combined with Philosophy project/paper due also on Wednesday. I've gotta pull that all together, because I've got most of the research done...

However, as Philosophy is concerned today... we will more than likely just have whatever projects are due today, and then, maybe he'll tell us what is on the final, and we will be done. We've already finished all the lectures from the syllabus, ending with The Problem with Evil.

So, today's got some good luck mixed in it.

It snowed today ::heart:: It didn't stick, so it was the best sort of snow for when people are out of their houses already. Anyhoo, I <3 snow, even though a lot of people say it's just because I don't drive in it... But, that can't be the ONLY reason to like snow, can it? ^^;;;
