I hate this kind of weather. I went right to bed last night because I was just so worn out. And I still didn't get any sleep. It's hot and muggy and the rain does nothing to dispel the heat ;;;

Marc and Skyler are taking vacations again ;; they just had vacations last month. This is driving me crazy. Everyone else at the store has had vacations (though the two Andrews did not get paid vacations), and now Marc and Skyler are taking MORE. AUGH. I know I could *theoretically* take a week off, but that's a week with no pay, and honestly, not accepting that. I'm getting more hours next week but still.

Picked up Rhythm Heaven again. And finally got past the early stages 8| Yeah, I know, I suck ;;; But I take comfort in the fact that Andrew did worse ;;;

Found my Ethereal Plunderer card, and I'm still debating on whether or not I want to redeem it. To be honest, I've never seen another player with it, so it'd be pretty neat to show off. But I could also sell it for, like, $100. That's not too bad (although the price went down).

Well, even if I wanted to, I have no opportunity during the next two weeks. Marc is going to Vegas, and Skyler is looking to redeem his vacation time whenever possible because he is not gonna be with the company for long.

Actually, I can't do it in September either, because that's the manager convention (also in Vegas ;;; ) and with any luck, I'll be ASM at that point so...

We might also be losing an employee because he's gonna be demoted due to lack of work ethic. And he's the type of person to quit for demotion even if it's his fault.

So, in all reality, I can't. Plus, I need the money. I can't afford taking a week off.

well, you've been working a long time with little vacation. =3= and if other people are doing it, don't you think you deserve it, too? What are you saving up for?

the last time I had a vacation was back when I was in college. Samsung never let me have vacations, and Gamestop is just as stingy. And it's not about thinking I deserve it or not; time off is not worth lack of money.

I'm saving up to actually have money someday. I only ever have 1-2k in my bankfund at any given time because of insurance, car payments, gas, and food (I mostly stock my own refridgerator and buy my food at work too) There's, of course, the entertainment money I spend too, but I usually just borrow games and go to free ticket movies.

And yes, my cut and title are from Oblongs 8D I wrote that as I watched haha.
