Trial of Luck...

Today started out quite rainy, and cold. Combined with my mom's depressing angsty music on the car ride here (with lyrics such as "I'm only happy when it rains..." or "I want to love but it comes out wrong. I want to live, but I don't belong. I close my eyes and I see... blood and roses..." -- yes, this is the sort of stuff she listens to all the time. Any sort of happy music seems to be looked down upon by her o.o;;)... well, I figured today was going to be pretty miserable.

However, I got a couple of lucky breaks. My favorite candy (Peanut chews :9) were actually stocked today. And the cloudy ickiness has gone away. It's still cold, but I hardly care about that when compared with rain. And none of my classes are really difficult today (though Latin American history is rather hard to sit through)

Also, extra credit quiz in Latin American history on Wednesday, with scoring equivalent to an essay. That is combined with Philosophy project/paper due also on Wednesday. I've gotta pull that all together, because I've got most of the research done...

However, as Philosophy is concerned today... we will more than likely just have whatever projects are due today, and then, maybe he'll tell us what is on the final, and we will be done. We've already finished all the lectures from the syllabus, ending with The Problem with Evil.

So, today's got some good luck mixed in it.

good luck is good....good luck mixed with sugar/favorite candy ... is even better *.* angsty songs can be good to when you think of them going with angsty characters...but angst too much can be hmmmm.... tiring i suppose?

well, I don't mind angsty songs as a whole. But it's.. about all she listens to. For someone who claims she likes dancing so much, she certainly hates dance music... But I was just irritable about it because the rain and foggy conditions make me in a blah mood in the first place, but added with total angsty songs (songs which I usually like, for the most part) just kinda added unwanted meh-ness to the day ^^;;

Snooow.

It's funny... Snow and Rain are very similar, you know? One's just colder than the other... and yet I love snow and hate the rain... I wonder why that is o.O; Of course, I like rain AND snow when it's sunny out... so maybe it just depends on the conditions? Maybe it's because rain is nastier than snow? Snow doesn't make you dripping wet just by walking through it for a short distance... Rain, however, does...

yeah .... i like both...waling in rain is fun....but wet and cold >.< snow is well snow therfore it is the best thing evah!!!! XDDDD Sorry i'm a bit high right now

Walking in the rain is great until you get caught in a torrential downpour going to class ^^;; If you're walking home it's okay, cause you can get outta wet clothes and dry off and have a warm drink, you know?

yup walking around it rain is fun only if you can change soon after and warm up yay ^^ i'm kinda cold so i think i shall do that now.....oooh HOT showers are also nice after being cold although sometimes you feel numb because you come from being really cold to really hot :shrug:
