Why am I still awake?
Brain = hurt. For some reason, I've had a lot of headaches recently. Work stress? Possibly...
ANYWAY, I'm tired and should go to bed, because I have work in a couple hours, but I saw Trey do this and BOY AM I EVER UP FOR TELLING PEOPLE BORING THINGS. ESPECIALLY ABOUT MYSELF!
Anyway, 24, and I wonder if I can come up with enough things. Let alone anything that people don't know about me.
1.) Easiest fact, I'm a compulsive gamer. I'll play anything; racing, fps, rts, rpg, puzzle, educational, historical, fighters, platformers. Put it on a console I have, and I will try it at least once.
2.) I am a historical and science nerd. Tru fax. I don't always retain everything, but I will sit down and read history books or science articles just for the hell of it (How It's Made is probably one of my favorite shows)
3.) Deep down, I dislike drawing and writing. This is because it frustrates me; I am never satisfied with my work, and feel like (although not true) people are only patronizing me by telling me they like my work.
4.) I prefer to watch animated over live action... whether it be English or Japanese. The exact same story could be told in an animated version and a live action version, and I will always like the animated one more.
5.) My favorite colors are purple and silver.
6.) I believe in reincarnation, as well as past lives, and I'm convinced I must have been a Japanese man in a past life. Nobody important, but just the same.
7.) I'm an incredibly cynical person :D
8.) If I had to choose between fruit and candy, I would pick fruit every time!
9.) I love horror! Books, movies, games, short stories! I'm not scared all that often, but I do love being creeped out!
10.) I LOVE GIRAFFES.
11.) The person I most identify with is .... fictional. 8| Billy Kaplan in Young Avengers; at least when I am interacting with the guys at work, I basically become the 'Billy' of the group.
12.) I am fascinated with other languages; I have several different languages on my iPod, in fact. Russian, Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, American Indian, Celtic, Indian, Spanish. There's some songs with some French and Latin there too.. Next on the list, German.
13.) I am a completionist when it comes to games. I will pour several hours into silly silly achievements for games, but will probably never be that dedicated to any other project in the real world :|
14.) I have never worn make-up in my life, and have no urge to ever do so.
15.) I love collecting figures. It doesn't matter of who - if i think they're cute, I'll probably buy it. And, of course, I also buy figures of characters that I really like (case in point, Ren from Vocaloid, and the archers from Disgaea)
16.) I have held live, unrestrained (snow) leopards, lions, and tigers. They were just babies, though.
17.) I used to live next to a horse farm. (No, I never learned how to ride)
18.) I was the flower girl at my parents' wedding.
19.) I enjoyed doing Aerobics, and like to dance, even though I'm not really graceful at all.
20.) I'm able to will myself out of minor status effects; if I'm tired, I can force myself to not be. Same for when I don't feel well (though that is often assisted with mint). I can, essentially, make most things wrong with my body become psychosomatic. (Of course, it's all probably building up in some sort of massive tumor or something, lol)
21.) I have more fun creating characters and planning out their stories than actually completing their stories 8D;;; (probably because it always seems cooler in my head than my actual execution)
22.) My heritage is mostly German, and I apparently seem to unintentionally graviate to mostly Italians. ... (All you Hetalia fans out there, yeah, you can laugh now >8| )
23.) I like the mild temperatures of Spring - you know, the kind of weather that you can walk around in a regular t-shirt, without a coat or overheating. Early mornings in the summer are really nice too.
24.) I have almost 300 video games (does not count the video games that are on my broken consoles :| )
