Day One: Mixed results
Captain's log,
Day one at Bernardsville brought about mixed results, leaving me confused as to whether or not it was bearable.
The manager... eh, I like our ASM better. Reason I mention it that way: both are named Dan. "Our" Dan is more personable than "Their" Dan, even if he seems to be a bit more ecchi, lol.
However, their LGA and I can talk about a lot, and he's really nice. We get along well; coordinating running the register, putting stuff away, and fixing up the walls. HEKNOWSWHOTHEYOUNGAVENGERSARE. That automatically gains him, like, fifty bajillion points right there. Plus, he offered his number in case I get confused and lost tomorrow when I'm by myself.
The store is fifteen miles PAST my store, which makes it about a 35-45 minute drive. However, it's fairly straightforward on how to get there.
They close at 8, instead of 9, so theoretically I should get home sooner. And, the customers are easier to get subs from.
But, I don't know where everything is, and I'm stuck by myself for 3 hours tomorrow in a store I'm not familiar with. Oy.
My head hurts. I'm tired. And I want to sleep.
Tomorrow will probably be the deciding factor. Luckily, it's not much of a deal, cause I'm only working there tomorrow and Friday. After that, they need to find another SGA. I wanna stay in my own store.
