Hm.
So. Thinking of disabling this LJ. Or whatever it is you do with LJs you don't need anymore.
I really don't us it. Looking at the data, I last posted something like 26 weeks ago. I really only use this LJ for tracking other LJ posts, and I don't even read them anymore. I guess, maybe, I'll jump over to the Punz community once in a while, but I can do that without having this.
I don't know if it's just because I'm working a lot or what, but I dunno. It's not like I have anything interesting to say in here.
Toss me an e-mail, or comment if you want. Maybe I'm just being moody.

All the guys at work want me to play WoW with them... My computer sucks, though D: And it's not just mine, you know, so I wouldn't have sole access to it D:

If you have any sort of addictive personality... do not do it. Trust me.
... I seem to recall giving you this advice before.

Any tips on computer purchases? Like things I should look for or avoid? :< I'm completely dumb when it comes to computers in this way.

Aaaaand, would WoW run on even an average computer?

And WoW's four to five years old. The expansion bumped up its requirements a little but just about anything you get today should be able to run it. For instance the expansion pack's minimum requirements listed are 800 MHz, half a gig of RAM and 32 megs of video RAM. Recommends 1 gig of RAM and 64 megs of video RAM. My current system is 2.4 GHz, 1 gig RAM and 256 MB video RAM and I can run WoW widescreen with full graphics at 20-30 FPS.

as a reference... between these two (ignoring price) which would you say is better for a primarily 'gaming' computer. Not gonna be a big gamer geek, but that's something I'll be using it for.

They both have the guts to be gaming computers, even if they have to be laptops. Desktops trade value for mobility, you could get similar stats for less of course.
