Characters in videogames... are easily taken in by fraud and/or not very thrifty with money. Think about it - you just purchase a weapon/armor, and go ohshi, not what I wanted... and you try to give it back to the shop, and they only give you 1/3 or 1/2 of what you just spent..

They need classes in money management... or at least a better eye for "damn, that's a stupid idea"
